Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma at this time stated that he plans to close down all madrassas within the state. Addressing a public rally in Karnataka’s Belagavi, Mr Sarma talked about that his authorities has closed 600 madrassas already and shut all of the others quickly.
